Traditionally, Flexible Packaging has been produced via wide-web Flexographic and Gravure printing presses. Though these presses are great solutions for orders of single SKU’s in the millions, they are often no longer efficient for today’s ordering patterns.

Our Flexible Packaging clients depend on us to provide much more than pouches and packets for their fluid and powder based products. They expect responsive turnaround,
efficient production of their small orders of multiple SKUs, high print quality, and price stability for smaller quantity orders.

If these are important factors in your company’s packaging strategy, we can help you.

You should consider Flexographically printed Flexible Packaging if your ordering patterns meet any of the following criteria:

  • Multiple SKU orders
  • Turnaround time requirement 5 – 10 days
  • Low quantity per SKU is dramatically increasing unit costs
  • The flexibility to change quantities per SKU up until final production
  • Seven or more colors and, or ultra-high-gloss aesthetics
  • Large graphics area of solid color that you want to pop!
  • High graphic fidelity
  • No limitation on quantity per SKU
  • Printing plates represent a significant cost
  • Narrow-web state-of-the-art Flexographic printing
  • Foil stamping
  • Embossing
  • UV varnishing
  • Aqueous (water-based) varnishing
  • Rewind/Inspection equipment specifically for Flexible Packaging products
  • Computer-to-plate (CTP) prespress technology
